Welcome

The Bipolar Buzz began in 2017 as a blog written by a mother-daughter duo. This platform allows them to share their experiences living with mental illness and to give hope to others navigating their own mental health challenges.

Just as bees collect pollen grains in their so-called pollen baskets and carry the pollen back to their nests, we at The Bipolar Buzz carry our information and experiences to you so that you may continue the process of planting seeds in your life and the lives of others. Hence, the buzz.

Podcast Interviews

The Bipolar Buzz Podcast is relaunching in 2025! Let us know if you’d like to be our guest. We talk everything mental health.

We would embrace the opportunity to be a guest on your podcast as well.

Peer Support

More than a support group, we are building a peer-led community of support, both in-person and online, for people who need some help getting through whatever it is they are going through. You do not have to have a diagnosis to be a part of this community!

This will be a safe space to not only share experiences and seek out advice but also to provide resources and workshops that address the internal and external barriers that stand in the way of our journey to mental wellness.

The Bipolar Buzz attended its first event for National Minority (BIPOC) Mental Health Awareness Month.

Events & Cohosting Opportunities

Let us know if you are looking for business vendors to attend or sponsor your mental health event.

We also provide opportunities for cohosting events and livestream broadcasts.

Empathetic Listening

We are not licensed mental health professionals, but we know how to provide an empathetic listening ear. You can think of these sessions as “baby steps” toward therapy or as low-cost support if you need someone to listen while you wait for a follow-up appointment with your therapist.

We offer 30-, 45-, and 60-minute sessions with evening and weekend availability! Specialty areas include: career guidance, mental health crises, and family with developmental disabilities.

Alaina Robinson

In 2017, I experienced my first full-blown manic episode with psychosis. While that traumatic event devastated me and seemingly got me off my course, I now view it as the power I need to continue showing up in the world.
