I was interviewed for ABC News foreign correspondent James Longman’s memoir The Inherited Mind in 2023. James’ book is now available for pre-order and will be released In January of 2025. In the very small portion about my own lived experience with mental illness, I briefly share with James what it’s like to live and parent with bipolar disorder, including my experiences with psychosis. One of those episodes occurred postpartum. I look forward to reading James’ story and the stories of so many others with mental illness “in their genes” when I receive my copy of this book next year!
